Patient Experience at Charing Cross Hospital Thanking the Staff
This has been a very difficult time for our family, but it could have been much worse without your dedication and expertise. My family and I are truly grateful for the level of care you were able to administer. We are also grateful for the time you took to talk with us to help us better understand our options.
Thank you for being on the front lines of care. Thank you for your kindness, dedication and healing touch. Thank you for always putting your patients first no matter how grueling your day. We thank you for providing an empathetic ear and compassionate hand when a life-changing diagnosis is delivered. We thank you for being a rock when waters get rough and we’re fighting for our lives.
You are the caregiver, communicator, patient advocate and decision maker. You are the hand-holder, the voice-of-reason, the 3 a.m. vitals-checkers. You become the around-the-clock best friend by the bedside, the calming voice, the familiar face full of compassion.
To many, you are a guardian angel.
You made such a difference in how you received us. You have respect, dignity and showed us empathy at a much needed time. You are one in a million. You care by nature and this shows sadly the NHS is being put under so much pressure this skill is being lost by so many and yet to be treated in the manner you showed us helps eleviate some of the stress if only many could adopt your caring nature.
I wanted to let you know how you helped us on a very difficult day. We have to return again due to the outcome of equipment not working within Radiology Department and hope that we are lucky enough for it to fall on your shift.
There are very few people we come accross like you, you keep the humanity in your role, compassion and understanding. You doing a great job in intensive care unit please continue the way you are and do not change like many others.
Thanks again. You are truly doing God’s work.
